Mission
Statement
Fishing
Families for Harpswell (FFFH) is a non-profit organization
comprised of Harpswell area fishermen, their families, and
supporters. FFFH was
founded in October, 2003 in response to, and in opposition of, a
proposed liquefied natural gas plant known as “Fairwinds”.
Although Harpswell rejected the Fairwinds proposal on March
9, 2004, FFFH will continue in its efforts to help preserve
Harpswell’s fishing heritage for future generations by:
Opposing threats to Harpswell’s natural resources and our way of
life
Supporting town growth that is consistent with Harpswell’s
Comprehensive Plan
Involvement
and volunteerism in community affairs |
